Monroe Rotary
The Rotary Club of Monroe is one of Michigan’s oldest Rotary clubs. The Rotary Club of Monroe has provided service to the Monroe area since it’s charter on May 5, 1924. Throughout the year, the Club combines weekly meetings with a wide variety of humanitarian service, community service and fundraising efforts. Ranging from local projects to help the homeless, promote literacy, and support foster children – to international outreach including sponsoring exchange students and performing medical missions outside the U.S. – Monroe Rotarians serve others locally and globally every day. |
Edwin L. Harwood (1955-2016)
Ed was a wonderful husband, father, son, brother, friend & Rotarian who is dearly missed every day. His kindness, gentleness, thoughtfulness, character and integrity are characteristics we as Rotarians strive to embody every day. |
